Happy Earth Day

Today is April 22. I just knew that it's Earth Day. I indeed didn't know anything 'bout this one. So I googled it. It says that Earth Day is an appreciation for Earth's environment.

We all know that the earth's situation has been getting so much worse and worse. We also know that this is happening because of our actions all this time. But don't you ever think to change your mind to a lil bit care about our 'home'?

Come on people! Let's care about our earth. Ask me why? Because we are living on it. If you love your earth, that means you love yourselves.

Remember, it's not about what country we are from. It's about what planet we are from :)

The Most Beautiful Flower

One afternoon...

That park bench was empty when I was sitting there. Under a long and lush old branch of a willow tree. So free from life illusion that causes the forehead wrinkles, because the world intends to impose me.

And if it was not enough 'to disrupt my days',
A girl who was wheezing approached me, she was really tired after playing.
She was standing right in front of me with her head looking down.
And she said something in zeal,

"Look at what I've found!"
There was a flower in her hand, but it was so tragic,
The flower crown was dull. Maybe it was caused by lack of rainwater or sunlight.
I showed a wry smile and turned away,
Because I wanted her and the dead flower to go away.

However, she just sat down beside me instead.
And brought the flower to her nose and she shoutes in a manner which I thought was excessive.

"Smells wonderful and beautiful too. That's why I picked it and it is for you!"

I saw a wild flower in front of me either dying or dead. There were no brilliant colors either orange, yellow, or red. But I knew that I had to take it or she wouldn't go.

Then I reached the flower and I answered,
"This is what I need."

Instead of put the flower in my hand, but she held it to the top. I didn't know what the aim was.
Then, I realized that she couldn't see anything. She was blind.

I heard my voice was trembling, tears drowned and reflected the sun.
Time to thanked her because she had chosen the best.

"You're welcome,"

She said with a smile, and she continued playing.
Without realizing the impact her actions on me.
I sat and pondered the way she saw a woman who mused wearily under old willow.
How did she know that I'm upset?

Perhaps in her heart, she was blessed a true sight.
Through a girl's blind eyes, finally I could see something.
The world was not problematic, but myself was.
And during that time I owned blind,
Now, I swear 'to enjoy my life', and appreciate every second that I have.

Then, I brought the flower to my nose. And the smell was wonderful fragrance of red rose.
I smiled when I saw the same girl with another wild flower to change the life of an old man who had been struggling despair.

Stupid Conversation

It's a very old story about a stupid conversation between Lydia (my cousin) and I. It happened in the middle of the night on January 1, 2009 in my room. When we were going to sleep, we talked anything about each of our school. I turned off the lamp and ready for sleep. And then, the stupid conversation began..

L for Lydia, N for Nita.

L = Nit, muka gua keliatan nggak?
N = Hah? Nggak orang gelap
L = Ah serius lo Nit!
N = Nggak. Muka gua keliatan nggak? (udah tau gelap masih nanya juga)
L = Muka lo juga ngga keliatan (dan bodohnya malah ditanggepin)

We just realized that we had talked about a stupid thing and then we laughed at each other.

1. Today is my Mom's birthday. Happy birthday Mommy! Love you always :)
2. I'm doing a mid-term test this week. I am killed by the extreme essay exercises. And I'm having a final test in ILP on Friday. So, wish me luck!

Bye 2009, Hi 2010!

With a new smile,
with a new spirit,
with a new life,
I wanna say:

"HAPPY NEW YEAR 2010" :D

Yeah, let's start it from a new beginning.

I celebrated new year with my neighborhoods at Dendy's house. There were so much firecrackers around us from many houses. It was a noisy midnight, crowded, but exciting.

I always make a wishlist every new year. But for this year, I think I will not make any wishlist. Because I think it doesn't work (sigh). Just like the lyrics of Que Sera Sera song, "The future's not ours to see". So, I don't need to know about my future. Cause I like something surprising. I will just do my best in every work. And still being perfectionist ;)
