T'was A Wrap for Nirwana!

Seneng banget! Acaranya akhirnya selesai dengan lancar. Pengunjungnya ternyata melebihi batas ekspektasi. Semuanya on time. Goalsnya juga dapet. Alhamduuuu.

Talkshow

Haha! Apapun danusnya, yang penting halal! (Maklumin aja. Demi nilai A, anak Humas D mah bakal bela-belain ngapain apa).

Ya lumayan lah. Yang penting nilainya A. :P

One of the publicities we got!

Facts About Me

Remembering back when people played writing 20 facts about themselves on Instagram, I also got tagged by Nataya, Mauddy, and Rachel, but I didn't make it. I am thinking of writing the 20 facts about me too on Instagram right now but I think it's too late haha. So I'm just gonna write them down here.

 So here we go!

  1. As a newborn baby, I was named Yunita Widianingrum. But when my mom found another person whose last name was the same with mine, she immediately changed my last name into Werdiningrum. (She told me, "Mama gak mau yang pasaran").
  2. I do love animals! Particularly furry animals. In my family, we barely ever live a moment without having a pet.
  3. I read a lot. I read anything and I almost never leave a bookstore without buying at least one book.
  4. Unlike my sister and brother, I'm the only child who never went to a private school. Well, I went to SDN Cipinang Melayu 03 Jakarta, SMPN 199 Jakarta, SMAN 48 Jakarta, and now I'm studying at Universitas Padjadjaran majoring in Public Relations (FYI, I'm graduating very soon).
  5. Funny that I know old songs way better than today's hits songs.
  6. I hate pessimistic people. I can't understand their lives.
  7. My hair straightener or also known as "catokan" has been my savior.
  8. Durian is the worst fruit ever it tastes like a spoiled mango.
  9. I secretly listen to and memorize every single word people are saying carefully.
  10. If I were given a chance to pick one language I can be fluent in by now, that would be Spanish.
  11. I always wake up very early in the morning on my own so that I barely ever set up an alarm to wake me up.
  12. The last time I wore contact lens was in May 2012, at my high school graduation and I'm pretty proud of it. Lol!
  13. I'm obsessed with lipsticks. My first attraction everytime I get into a makeup store is to try on lipsticks :P
  14. I love and believe that each person I meet is unique. That could be the reason why I love meeting new people, making new friends.
  15. Spending time with my closest people always makes me feel good, or even better.
  16. I have always been interested in the history of anything.
  17. "A dreamer" describes me best.
  18. When I like a song, I can play that song a hundred times in a row till I get bored with it XD
  19. I've ALWAYS wished that Indomie were healthy 'cause I'd like to eat it everyday!
  20. I'm quite over-thinking. I can't stop thinking of something that haunts me all day long or I can't even fall asleep at night because of thinking of it too much.

Yeeeee cheers!

It Is Never Too Late To Begin Something New

Time passes by real fast
We never even realized that

Thinking of everything we have done
Whether it was right or wrong
Whether it was good or bad
Whether it was according to what we had expected
It has already become "a past"

To regret is about to waste the remaining time
There is nothing to be worried about
We are human beings therefore it's possible that we ever did some mistakenness
All we have to do now is to revive
Don't hesitate to take your step

It is never too late to begin something new

xx,
Yunita W

For Perfection Seekers

Bride Wars is an American romantic comedy film released in 2009. I'm pretty sure most of you have already seen it. Too bad I have to admit that I've just watched this movie for the first time. Yet it's not a big deal, isn't it?

This movie is about two best friends become rivals when they schedule their respective weddings on the same day (Source: IMDb). I'm not reviewing. I just want to make my own conclusion from this movie which any of us could probably learn from it.

What I learned from this movie is:

If being perfect becomes a competition, there won't be the winner.

There was a part when Liv said, "It's exhausting having to try to be perfect all the time."
"Perfect" may have different meanings to each person. But it has actually got no standards to define perfect itself. Thereupon all people seem to compete for getting the perfection, which they don't even know how it is like. Instead of winning that perfection, they end up bringing them down one another. And it will never ever end unless they realize they have lost their own happiness, for example a very good friend, by doing this kind of stupid competition.

Aren't you tired to see people fighting each other because of racing to win something they both will not get? In other words, they fight for nothing.

It is good to be a competitive person though. I myself confess that I am the kind of person who's ambitious enough. But it's not something perfect that I look for. The more you look for perfection, the more you'll never find it. Perfection is owned by nobody. Plan what you are going to do, what you are going to be based on what you want without comparing yourself to others. Go get yourself still having fun as much as you can while you're organizing your future.

Perhaps, people just have a wrong perception in life. It's actually not something perfect they want, but it's how great the efforts they make to become what they want. Kamali a.k.a Lyrikal says, "Try to expect nothing, but be open for anything. Don't look for happiness, but don't settle for anything less." So, go reset your mind. Get rid of thinking how to be perfect. Let yourself make a goal to be reached, then make another higher goal after reaching the first one, make another again, make again, make again, and so on!
